Roof Repair & Replacement services in Carefree
Carefree is a small town of custom homes set among granite boulders north of Scottsdale. Many houses were designed to blend into the desert, with low flat roofs, parapet walls and earth-coloured finishes, and others carry clay or concrete tile. Flat roofs here are often foam with a protective coating or a membrane, and they depend on clean scuppers and drains because a monsoon cell can drop a great deal of rain in a few minutes. Carefree sits a little higher than the Valley floor, so nights are cooler, but the sun and summer heat still age coatings, sealant and tile underlayment. Roofs often wrap around boulders and courtyards, which means unusual shapes and many wall joints. Good photos and a careful look at every transition matter more here than on a simple tract-house roof.
